Select the app and go to the Resources tab.\n2. Click the edit (pencil) icon beside the process type to scale (e.g. web).\n3. Move the slider or type the desired dyno count.\n4. Click Confirm.\n\n## End state\nThe dyno formation updates immediately (scales horizontally); dyno size (vertical scaling) is changed from the same edit control.
