# Heroku Dashboard: enable automatic deploys from GitHub

## Steps
1. Open the app and go to the Deploy tab.
2. Under Deployment method, select GitHub.
3. Click Connect to GitHub and authorize the connection.
4. Choose the GitHub repository to connect to this app.
5. Under Automatic deploys, click Enable Automatic Deploys.
6. Confirm or change the branch to deploy from (defaults to the repo's main/master branch); optionally check "Wait for CI to pass before deploy".

## End state
Every push to the configured branch now triggers a Heroku build and deploy automatically. GitHub repo admin access is required, since Heroku registers a service hook on the repo.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
