# Netlify: invite a team member

## Steps
1. As a team Owner, go to the Netlify Team dashboard.
2. Go to Team settings → Members.
3. Select Add members.
4. Follow the prompts to enter the person's email and choose a role (e.g. Developer, Internal Builder) and, optionally, which existing projects they can access.
5. Confirm to send the invite.

## End state
The invitee receives an email invitation and sees the pending invite in their own Netlify dashboard on next sign-in; project access can be changed later via the Members list → Options → Edit member.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
