# Neon console: enable autoscaling on a compute

## Steps
1. Select the branch from the project/branch menu at the top of the sidebar.
2. Under Postgres database, select Computes.
3. Click Edit next to the compute to configure.
4. In the Edit compute drawer, select Autoscale.
5. Use the slider to set a minimum and maximum compute size, then save.

## End state
Neon scales the compute within the chosen range (0.25 to 16 CU) to meet demand; the gap between minimum and maximum cannot exceed 8 CU. Each CU is roughly 4 GB RAM (1 CU ≈ 4 GB, 2 CU ≈ 8 GB, etc.).

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
