# Auth0 Dashboard: enable multi-factor authentication ## Steps 1. Go to Dashboard → Security → Multi-factor Auth. 2. In the Factors section, toggle on the desired factors: WebAuthn with FIDO Security Keys, One-time Password, Push via Auth0 Guardian, Phone Message, Cisco Duo, WebAuthn with device biometrics, or Email. 3. For factors needing extra setup (SMS, Cisco Duo), click into the factor to configure its settings before continuing. 4. In the Define policies section, next to "Require Multi-factor Auth", choose a policy: Never, Use Adaptive MFA, or Always. ## End state Enabled factors are offered to end users per the chosen policy; Adaptive MFA triggers based on Auth0's own risk determination rather than every login. Source: vendor documentation as of 2026-10-29 (doc date not shown); not observed in a live UI.

Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
