# Auth0 Dashboard: add permissions to a role

## Steps
1. Go to Dashboard → User Management → Roles.
2. Click the name of the role to open it.
3. Click the Permissions tab.
4. Click Add Permissions.
5. Select the API the permissions belong to.
6. Select the permissions to add.
7. Click Add Permissions to confirm.

## End state
The role's Permissions tab lists the added permissions, grouped by API; any user assigned this role now carries those permissions in tokens that request RBAC-enabled APIs.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
