# Auth0 Dashboard: create a custom Action and add it to the Login flow

## Steps
1. Go to Dashboard → Actions → Library.
2. Click Create Action, then choose Build from scratch (or Add Action → Build from template for a pre-made one).
3. Enter a Name and select the trigger, e.g. Login / Post Login.
4. Click Create; write the action code in the editor and deploy it.
5. Go to Actions → Flows → Login.
6. Click Custom on the right-side panel to see your deployed custom actions.
7. Drag the action from the right sidebar into the flow at the desired point and save.

## End state
The action runs for every matching event (e.g. every login) in the position it was dropped in the flow; the Flows → Login diagram shows it in place.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
