# Auth0 Dashboard: create an application

## Steps
1. Go to Dashboard → Applications → Applications.
2. Click Create Application.
3. Choose to "Create it manually" or "Import from URL" (CIMD-based registration); manual is the common path.
4. Enter a name and select an application type: Native, Single-Page Web Applications, Regular Web Applications, or Machine-to-Machine Applications.
5. Click Create.

## End state
The app lands on its Settings page, which includes a Quick Start tab with SDK-specific setup docs for the chosen application type; Client ID and Client Secret are visible on Settings.

Source: vendor documentation as of 2026-10-29 (doc date not shown); not observed in a live UI.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
