Sign in as a super admin.\n2. Go to Security → Administrators.\n3. Select the Roles tab.\n4. Click Create new role.\n5. Enter a Role name (Okta recommends a self-explanatory name) and, optionally, a Role description.\n6. Select the required user permissions and group permissions for the role.\n7. Click Save role.\n\n## End state\nThe new role appears on the Roles tab.
