# Okta Admin Console: assign an app integration to people or groups

## Steps
1. Open the app integration's settings page (Applications → Applications → select the app).
2. Select the Assignments tab.
3. Click the Assign dropdown and choose Assign to People or Assign to Groups.
4. Click Assign next to each user or group to add; for individual users, complete the Attributes dialog if shown.
5. Click Done once all assignments are made.

## End state
The Assignments tab lists each assigned person/group; assigned users can now launch the app from their Okta end-user dashboard.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
