Sign in to the Admin Console as an admin holding the permissions the token should carry (token inherits the creator's permissions).\n2. Go to Security → API.\n3. Click the Tokens tab.\n4. Click Create Token.\n5. In the \"What do you want your token to be named?\" field, enter a token name.\n6. Optionally restrict which IPs the token's API calls may originate from, via the \"API calls made with this token must originate from\" dropdown.\n7. Click Create Token to finish; the token value is shown once.\n\n## End state\nThe new token is listed on Security → API → Tokens with its name, creator, and last-used time.
