# Supabase: find and copy your project's API keys for a new environment — Connect dialog, or Settings → API Keys

## Steps
1. Open the project's **Connect** dialog (dashboard.../project/_?showConnect=true). It shows the project URL and the publishable key for whichever framework is selected, ready to paste into a `.env` file.
2. To pick a specific key, or see every key the project has (legacy or current), open **Settings** > **API Keys** instead.

## End state
The URL and the chosen key are available to paste into a new environment's configuration. This reads existing keys only — if the project has no publishable/secret key yet, one must be created first from **Settings > API Keys**.
