# Supabase: provision additional disk IOPS/throughput — Settings → Infrastructure → disk provisioning

## Steps
1. In the Supabase Dashboard, go to the project's **Settings** > **Infrastructure** page.
2. Provision additional IOPS and throughput beyond the default gp3 baseline (125 MB/s, 3,000 IOPS) from that page, or increase the disk size.

## End state
The disk gets more provisioned IOPS/throughput (capped by what the current compute instance size supports — higher throughput requires at least a Large compute size) or more storage. Disk size can only be increased, never decreased.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
