# Supabase: resume a paused project — Dashboard → organization → paused project → Resume project

## Steps
1. Open the Supabase Dashboard.
2. Select the organization, then the paused project.
3. Click **Resume project** and confirm.

## End state
The project returns to its previous state, including data and configuration. Restoration is possible for up to 1 year after the project was paused; after that window, backups retained for the restore may no longer be available.
