# Supabase: send a magic link to a user — Authentication → Users → user row → (…) → Send magic link

## Steps
1. In the Supabase Dashboard, go to **Authentication** > **Users**.
2. Find the user's row and open its action menu.
3. Select **Send magic link**.

## End state
Supabase emails the user a magic sign-in link; this is the same `Send magic link` action that Supabase's own permission system names as a distinct grantable capability (Owner/Administrator/Developer can perform it; read-only roles cannot).
