# Cloudflare: enable Always Use HTTPS — SSL/TLS → Edge Certificates → toggle Always Use HTTPS

## Steps
1. In the Cloudflare dashboard, confirm the zone's SSL/TLS encryption mode is not set to **Off** (when it is **Off**, this toggle is hidden).
2. Go to the **Edge Certificates** page (under SSL/TLS).
3. Turn on **Always Use HTTPS**.

## End state
HTTP requests to the zone are redirected to HTTPS. Can also be set via the API with a `PATCH` to the zone's `always_use_https` setting.
