# Stripe: download an invoice as a PDF — Invoices page → overflow (⋯) → Download PDF

## Steps
1. On the **Invoices** page, hover over the row for the invoice.
2. Hover over the overflow menu (⋯) to reveal the **Download PDF** button and click it.

## End state
A PDF downloads: if the customer already paid the invoice, Stripe generates a receipt PDF instead of an invoice PDF; for any other status it's an invoice PDF. To get the original invoice PDF for a paid invoice, open the invoice's details page instead.
