# Stripe: void an open or uncollectible invoice — Invoice page → overflow (•••) → Change invoice status → Void

## Steps
1. Navigate to the invoice page in the Dashboard and select the invoice to void.
2. Click the overflow (•••) button and select **Change invoice status**.
3. Choose **Void** and confirm the status update.

## End state
Only invoices with status `open` or `uncollectible` can be voided. Voiding makes the invoice non-payable and zero-value for reporting; it is a terminal state (a voided invoice can't be reopened). The hosted invoice page remains reachable and shows the invoice is voided.
