# Stripe: request an Instant Payout — Balances page → Pay out → select Instant

## Steps
1. On the **Balances** page, click **Pay out**.
2. If eligible for Instant Payouts and the balance is positive, choose between a **Standard** or **Instant** payout.

## End state
An Instant Payout moves available funds to the linked debit card or bank account outside normal payout timing, for an additional fee; eligibility and daily volume limits apply, and the account is responsible for reconciling instant payouts against its own transaction history (they aren't matched to transactions by Stripe's reconciliation report).

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
