# Stripe: cancel a subscription — Subscriptions page → overflow (⋯) → Cancel subscription

## Steps
1. On the **Subscriptions** page, find the subscription, click the overflow menu (⋯), and select **Cancel subscription**.
2. Choose when to end it: immediately, at the end of the period, or on a custom date.
3. Choose whether to refund a prorated amount, refund the last payment in full, or provide no refund.
4. Click **Cancel subscription** to finalize.

## End state
The subscription's status updates (canceled immediately, or scheduled to cancel at period end/custom date); no further invoices are generated for canceled periods.
