# Figma: create a project in a team — team page → New project → name → Create project

## Steps
1. Open the team's page in the file browser.
2. Click "New project" in the top-right corner of the team section (or the "+ New project" button in the center of an empty team, or the "+" icon beside the team name tab).
3. Enter a project name.
4. Click "Create project".

## End state
The project appears in the team's project list, ready to hold files; its visibility and member access follow the team's permission settings unless overridden per-project.
