# Figma: create a new team — Team button → name and access → Next → Create team

## Steps
1. On an Organization or Enterprise plan, click the "Team" button in the top-right corner of the file browser.
2. Enter a name for the team and set the organization access level for it.
3. Click "Next".
4. Optionally enter the names/emails of people to invite and set their team permissions.
5. Click "Create team".

## End state
The team appears in the sidebar team list; organization admins can alternatively create a team from "Admin" → "Content" tab → "Create new team" at the top of the team list.
