# Sentry: create an internal integration and org-level auth token — Settings → Custom Integrations → Create New Integration

## Steps
1. In Sentry, click "Settings" in the left menu to open Organization Settings.
2. Click "Custom Integrations" in the left side panel.
3. Press "Create New Integration".
4. Make sure "Internal Integration" is selected in the modal, then press "Next".
5. Enter a name for the integration.
6. Under "Permissions", select the permissions required for the APIs to be called (each API endpoint's docs list required scopes).
7. Click "Save Changes".
8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and copy the generated token under "Tokens".

## End state
The integration appears in Custom Integrations with its configured permissions; its token authenticates API calls scoped to exactly those permissions, independent of any individual user's account.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
