# Sentry: set up SAML single sign-on — Organization Settings → Auth → Configure (identity provider) → IdP Data → Save Metadata

## Steps
1. In Sentry, go to "Settings" → "Auth".
2. Click "Configure" next to the identity provider (e.g. the generic SAML2 provider, or a named provider like Okta/Azure AD).
3. Click "IdP Data" and enter the identity provider's SSO URL, Entity ID, and x.509 certificate.
4. Click "Save Metadata".
5. Scroll to "General Settings" and optionally enable "Require SSO".

## End state
The Auth page shows the provider as configured; members can authenticate via the identity provider, and with "Require SSO" enabled, password-based login is disallowed for the organization.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
