# Sentry: create a project — Settings → Projects → Create Project

## Steps
1. In Sentry, go to "Settings" → "Projects" and click "Create Project" in the top right corner (or click the "+" icon next to "Projects" in the left sidebar).
2. Select the platform the application runs on.
3. Give the project a descriptive name and assign it to a team.
4. Click "Create Project".

## End state
Sentry shows SDK setup instructions including the new project's DSN (Data Source Name); the project appears in the Projects list under its assigned team and begins accepting events once the SDK is configured with that DSN.

Source: vendor documentation as of 2026-10-28 (doc date not shown); not observed in a live UI.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
