# Datadog: set up SAML single sign-on — Organization Settings → Login Methods → Configure (SAML) → Add SAML

## Steps
1. In the Datadog app, hover over the username in the bottom left corner and select "Organization Settings".
2. Select "Login Methods".
3. Click "Configure" under "SAML".
4. Click "Add SAML".
5. In the configuration modal, enter a user-friendly name for the SAML provider (shown to end users at login).
6. Upload the identity provider's SAML metadata XML by clicking "browse files" or dragging it onto the modal (ASCII characters only).
7. Click "Save".

## End state
The SAML provider appears under Login Methods as configured; users can then choose it at the Datadog login screen once it is enabled for the organization.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
