# Shopify admin: add a staff account — Settings → Users and permissions → Add staff

## Steps
1. In the Shopify admin, go to "Settings" → "Users and permissions".
2. Click "Add staff".
3. Enter the new user's first name, last name, and email address.
4. In the Permissions section, click "Expand all" to review every available permission, then select individual permissions or click "Select all permissions".
5. Click "Send invite".

## End state
The account appears in Users and permissions with status "Invite sent" until the invitee accepts by email, after which it shows as an active staff account with the granted permission set.
