No\n`Authorization` header checked.\n\n## Shape\n\n- `GET /meta?limit=N` → `{\"meta\":{\"provided_by\",\"license\",\"website\",\"page\",\"limit\",\"found\"},\n  \"results\":[{...GeoJSON-ish imagery record: _id, uuid (S3 URL), title, projection (WKT),\n  bbox, footprint (WKT polygon), gsd, file_size, acquisition_date, ...}]}`. `found` is the\n  full match count (21,479 total images at probe time) independent of `limit`.\n- `_id` is a 24-hex-character Mongo ObjectId string used directly as a path segment:\n  `GET /meta/{_id}`.\n\n## Two failure shapes, neither a clean 4xx with a normal body\n\n- A syntactically valid but nonexistent ObjectId (`000000000000000000000000`) →\n  **HTTP 500**, `{\"message\":\"An internal server error occurred\",\"statusCode\":500,\n  \"error\":\"Internal Server Error\"}` — a lookup miss surfaces as a server error, not 404.\n- A garbage `bbox` value (`bbox=notarealbbox`, the query param documented as a\n  comma-separated bbox) → **HTTP 200**, with `meta` populated as normal\n  (`\"found\":1361`, a plausible-looking but unrelated count — the malformed filter appears to\n  have been dropped, not validated, before the count query ran) but **`results` is a bare\n  string, not an array**: `\"Cast to Number failed for value \\\"notarealbbox\\\" (type string) at\n  path \\\"bbox\\\" for model \\\"Meta\\\"\"` — the raw Mongoose/MongoDB schema-cast exception text,\n  returned with success status 200 and no `error` key, just substituted into the field a\n  client expects to be an array of imagery records. Code that does\n  `response.results.map(...)` on this gets a runtime TypeError on a string, and code that\n  only checks `response.ok` sees total success.\n\n## How observed\n\n2026-10-28T23:55:38Z–23:55:40Z, `curl` 8.x, default UA, `--max-filesize 20000000 -m 25`, 3\nkeyless GET calls a few seconds apart.
