# Salesforce Setup: require MFA for all direct UI logins — Quick Find → Identity Verification → Require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all direct UI logins to your Salesforce org

## Steps
1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter "Session Settings" and select "Session Settings"; confirm "Multi-Factor Authentication" is listed in the "High Assurance" column under Session Security Levels.
2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter "Identity" and select "Identity Verification".
3. Select the checkbox "Require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all direct UI logins to your Salesforce org".
4. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.

## End state
The checkbox shows as checked and, per Salesforce's own documentation, this org-wide enforcement cannot be turned back off once confirmed; every user authenticating with a username and password at direct UI login is subsequently prompted for a second factor.

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
