# Salesforce Setup: register and deploy a My Domain — Quick Find → My Domain → Check Availability → Register Domain → Deploy to Users

## Steps
1. Click the gear icon and select "Setup".
2. In the Quick Find box, enter "My Domain" and select "My Domain" under Company Settings.
3. In "Choose Your Domain Name", enter the desired subdomain and click "Check Availability".
4. If available, click "Register Domain".
5. Wait for the confirmation email that the domain is ready, then log in using the new domain URL (e.g. yourcompany.my.salesforce.com) and verify customizations and integrations work.
6. Return to Setup → My Domain and click "Deploy to Users".
7. Confirm the warning dialog with "OK".

## End state
My Domain's status shows "Deployed to users"; all users are now redirected to log in at the custom domain URL instead of the generic login.salesforce.com.
