# Salesforce Setup: create a Flow — Quick Find → Flows → New Flow → Start From Scratch

## Steps
1. Click the gear icon and select "Setup".
2. In the Quick Find box, enter "Flows" and select "Flows".
3. Click "New Flow".
4. In the "New Flow" / "New Automation" window, select "Start From Scratch", then click "Next".
5. Select the flow type (e.g. Screen Flow, Record-Triggered Flow, Schedule-Triggered Flow), then click "Create".
6. On the canvas, add elements (e.g. "Get Records", "Decision", "Update Records") and connect them in execution order.
7. Click "Save", enter a Flow Label, and click "Save" again.
8. Click "Activate" to turn it on.

## End state
The flow appears in the Flows list with status "Active" and its version number; a record-triggered flow begins firing on matching DML operations immediately.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
