# HubSpot: set up and require single sign-on (SSO) — Settings → Security → Login tab → Configure single sign-on → Set up ## Steps 1. Click the settings icon in the top navigation bar. 2. In the left sidebar, click "Security". 3. On the "Login" tab, if portal login settings haven't been configured, click "Setup Portal Login Settings" first; then in the "Configure single sign-on (SSO)" section, click "Set up". 4. In the right panel, either drag-and-drop or click "Choose a file" to upload the IdP's federation metadata XML, then click "Verify" — or, under "All Other Identity Providers", click "Copy" next to each value (Audience URI / Service Provider Entity ID, Sign on URL, ACS/Recipient/Redirect) to configure the IdP manually. 5. Complete the matching configuration on the identity provider side. 6. Back on the Login tab, in the "Configure single sign-on" section, check "Require single sign-on" to make it mandatory. ## End state The Login tab shows the SSO connection as configured, and with "Require single sign-on" checked, users in the account can no longer sign in with a HubSpot password. Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
