# Microsoft Entra admin center: invite a B2B guest user — Entra ID → Users → New user → Invite external user

## Steps
1. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center as at least a User Administrator (guest inviter settings must allow it).
2. Browse to Entra ID → Users.
3. Select "New user", then select "Invite external user".
4. On the "Basics" tab, enter the guest's email address and a display name, then select "Next: Properties".
5. Optionally add a sponsor under "Job information" on the "Properties" tab.
6. Select "Review + invite".

## End state
A "Successfully invited user" confirmation appears and the account is added to Users with "User type: Guest" and "Invitation state: Pending acceptance" until the invitee accepts.
