# Google Workspace Admin: suspend a user — Users list → More options → Suspend user

## Steps
1. Sign in to admin.google.com as an administrator.
2. Menu → Directory → Users.
3. In the Users list, point to the user's row and click the "More options" (⋮) icon, then click "Suspend user" — or open the user's account page and click "Suspend user" in the panel on the left.
4. Click "Suspend" in the confirmation dialog.

## End state
The user's status shows "Suspended" in the Users list; the account cannot sign in until an admin clicks "Unsuspend user" on the same page.
