# Notion: create a webhook subscription — Developer portal → Connections → connection → Webhooks tab → Create a subscription

## Steps
1. Go to the connection's settings (app.notion.com/developers/connections), create or select a connection.
2. Open the "Webhooks" tab.
3. Select "+ Create a subscription".
4. Enter a public, HTTPS webhook URL.
5. Choose which event types to subscribe to.
6. Complete verification by returning the `verification_token` Notion sends in its initial request to that URL.

## End state
The subscription is listed active on the Webhooks tab; subscribed event types now deliver a POST to the URL as they occur in the connected workspace content.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
