# Notion: invite a workspace member — Settings → People/Members → Members tab → Add members

## Steps
1. Go to "Settings" → "People" or "Members" (label depends on plan).
2. Go to the "Members" tab.
3. Select "Add members" and type the invitee's email address.
4. Choose a role: Workspace owner, Membership admin, or Member.
5. Press "Invite".

## End state
The invited person receives an invitation and, once accepted, appears in the Members list under the chosen role; alternatively "Copy link" from the same screen shares a secret invite URL that grants access to whoever opens it.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
