# Notion: add a new database view — + next to the database name/views → choose view type

## Steps
1. Open the database.
2. Select the "+" symbol next to the database name or the existing view tabs (on narrow screens, click the current view's name and select "New view" instead).
3. Choose a view type: Table, Board, Timeline, Calendar, List, Gallery, or Chart.
4. Name the new view.

## End state
The new view is added as another tab alongside the existing views of the same underlying database, showing the same data in the chosen layout.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
