# Vercel: remove a team member — Team Settings → Members → ⋯ → Remove from Team

## Steps
1. From the dashboard, select the team from the team switcher.
2. Open "Settings" in the sidebar and go to "Members".
3. Next to the member's name, select the ellipses (…) and choose "Remove from Team".

## End state
The member no longer appears in the team's Members list and loses access to the team's projects.

## Note
Only team owners can remove members (a member can also remove themself). Teams using SAML SSO also have the member removed automatically when de-provisioned at the identity provider, per SCIM.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
