# Vercel: assign a project role — Project → Access → Project Access → select member → select role

## Steps
1. Ensure the correct team is selected from the team switcher.
2. Select the project.
3. Select "Access" from the left navigation.
4. In the "Project Access" section, select the team member's email from the dropdown.
5. Select the role to assign them on that project.

## End state
The member's project-level role (Project Administrator, Project Developer, or Project Viewer) is listed in Project Access and takes effect immediately for that project only.

## Note
Requires an Enterprise plan; only members with the contributor role can hold a project-level role.
