# Vercel: redeploy / promote to production — Project → Deployments → ⋯ → Redeploy

## Steps
1. Ensure the correct team is selected from the team switcher.
2. Select the project.
3. Open "Deployments" in the sidebar.
4. Locate the deployment (use the Branch/Date Range/Environment/Status filters if needed).
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯) icon and select "Redeploy".
6. In the "Redeploy to Production" dialog, choose whether to reuse the existing Build Cache, then select "Redeploy".

## End state
A new deployment of that build runs and, once complete, serves production traffic; the Deployments list shows it as a new entry linked back to the same source.
