# Cloudflare: create a KV namespace and bind it to a Worker — Workers KV → Create instance; then Worker → Settings → Bindings → Add binding

## Steps
1. To create the namespace: dashboard → "Workers KV" page → "Create instance" → enter a namespace name → "Create".
2. To bind it: dashboard → "Workers & Pages" → select the Worker → "Bindings" tab → "Add binding".
3. Choose "KV namespace" → "Add binding".
4. Enter a "Variable name" and select the KV namespace from the dropdown.
5. Select "Add binding" to deploy.

## End state
The namespace is listed on the Workers KV page; the Worker's Bindings tab lists the new binding, and the chosen variable name is now available inside the Worker's code as a runtime KV binding.
