# Google Cloud Console: create an OAuth 2.0 client ID — Google Auth Platform Clients → Create client

## Steps
1. Navigate to the Google Auth Platform Clients page (console.developers.google.com/auth/clients).
2. Click "CREATE CLIENT".
3. Select the application type (e.g. Web application, Desktop app).
4. Fill in the required fields (name, redirect URIs for a web app, etc.) and click "CREATE".

## End state
The new client is listed on the Google Auth Platform Clients page with its Client ID and, for confidential client types, a Client Secret.

## Moved from
OAuth client creation now lives on the dedicated "Google Auth Platform Clients" page rather than under APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → OAuth client ID.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
