# Slack: add a bot token scope and get the Bot User OAuth Token — OAuth & Permissions → Bot Token Scopes → Install to Workspace ## Steps 1. Open the app in App Management → OAuth & Permissions. 2. Under Scopes, add the needed scopes under Bot Token Scopes. 3. Install (or reinstall) the app to the workspace to authorize the new scopes. 4. Copy the resulting Bot User OAuth Token (prefix `xoxb-`) from the OAuth & Permissions page. ## End state The OAuth & Permissions page lists the token beginning with `xoxb-`; API calls made with it succeed for the scopes just added. Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
