# Supabase: enable RLS on a table — SQL Editor → ALTER TABLE … ENABLE ROW LEVEL SECURITY

## Steps
1. Dashboard → select project → SQL Editor (or connect with `psql` over a direct connection).
2. Run `alter table <schema>.<table> enable row level security;`.
3. Add at least one policy with `create policy …` — the docs state no rows are accessible via the API until a policy exists.

The ALTER TABLE statement completes without error; the table now requires a matching RLS policy before the API returns any of its rows.
