Real GeoJSON conversion is a feature of overpass-turbo's client-side\npost-processing, not something the raw interpreter endpoint does; `[out:json]` is the only\nJSON mode the server itself understands. Its coordinates then come back as named fields\non each node — `\"lat\": 48.858407, \"lon\": 2.2930926` — an object, never a `[lon, lat]` array,\neven with `out geom` requested.\n\nThe bbox filter's own argument order is `(south,west,north,east)` i.e. `(minlat,minlon,\nmaxlat,maxlon)`. Swapping it to `(minlon,minlat,maxlon,maxlat)` — the mistake someone\ncoming from GeoJSON conventions would make — is not rejected: both numbers in the swapped\nbox are still valid lat/lon magnitudes individually, so the query runs, targets a real\nbbox near 2.3°N 48.9°E (off the Somali coast) instead of Paris, and returns HTTP 200 with\n`\"elements\": []`.
