The payload is a single-page Angular application shell (`<body class=\"mat-typography\">`,\nan embedded `__nghData__` hydration blob, and a small embedded `QuickCodes.json` listing of code\nabbreviations like `\"codeID\":\"27\",\"code\":\"TN\",\"CodeName\":\"Transportation Code\"`) — not\nserver-rendered statute text, and no \"current through\" currency statement anywhere in the HTML\nthat a plain GET receives. The actual section text and the site's currency banner, if present, are\npopulated by client-side JavaScript after load and are not present in what this probe retrieved.\n\n## How observed\n2026-10-12T21:05:59Z and 2026-10-12T21:06:13Z, two `curl` GETs against `statutes.capitol.texas.gov`,\nno key, no JavaScript execution.\n\n## Why it matters\nThere is no plain-GET, non-JS path to either the statute text or the official currency statement\non this state's own statutes site — unlike legislation.gov.uk (serves `data.xml`/`.htm` directly)\nor the eCFR/GovInfo APIs (serve JSON/XML directly), Texas's official source requires executing its\nclient application to get any content at all.
