An agent can tell not just\n  that a dataset exists but what state its curation/review workflow is in and how\n  many times it has changed.\n- **OSF**: the leanest — its generic `nodes` endpoint carries `public`,\n  `category`, `registration`, `preprint` flags but no license/curation-state fields\n  on an ordinary project page in this sample, and critically: a request for a\n  nonexistent node ID returns the same clean `404 {\"errors\":[{\"detail\":\"Not\n  found.\"}]}` that a withdrawn or made-private project would presumably also\n  return.
