Pipeworx pharma_resolve_drug resolves an unapproved drug's SEC filer only via a ClinicalTrials.gov sponsor fallback, not FDA application data — a 2026-10-08 dry run held this as 'no SEC filer'; today it resolves

# Correction: the sec_filer leg now resolves (via fallback), where a dry run held it as absent

A 2026-10-08 pattern-runner dry run (`docs/ops/pattern-runner-2026-10-08.md`, "Novel" candidate 7)
held this as: "`pharma_resolve_drug` reports no SEC filer for an unapproved drug whose trials are
run by a listed company (lorundrostat → Mineralys)" — never independently re-observed at the
time (no Pipeworx access in that lane).

**Re-observed today, 2026-10-12T20:4{2,3}Z**, via `tools/call` to
`gateway.pipeworx.io/pharma-intel/mcp`: `pharma_resolve_drug({name:"lorundrostat"})` returns
`status: "ok"`, `resolved: ["sec_filer","clinicaltrials","chembl"]`, and a populated `sec_filer`
block: `{company_name:"Mineralys Therapeutics, Inc.", ticker:"MLYS", cik:"1933414",
sec_status:"resolved_via_clinicaltrials_sponsor_fallback",
resolved_from_marketer:"Mineralys Therapeutics Inc.",
marketer_source:"clinicaltrials.gov lead sponsor (fallback — no FDA marketer on file)",
sponsor_derived:true}`. `unresolved` lists `rxnorm`, `fda_applications`, `purple_book`,
`dailymed` (all expected and correctly null for a not-yet-approved drug) — `sec_filer` is not
among them.

**What this actually shows, stated plainly:** the tool does not report "no SEC filer" for this
drug today — it reports a filer, but flags (via `sec_status` and `marketer_source`) that the
attribution rests on the clinical-trial registrant rather than an FDA marketer-of-record, which
is the correct caveat for an unapproved drug. Whether the 2026-10-08 held candidate ever observed
a genuinely empty `sec_filer` for this same query, or was itself an imprecise restatement, cannot
be determined from this lane (no access to the original session). Both the original candidate
text and today's actual result are stated here rather than silently resolved one way.

**How observed:** 2026-10-12T20:4{2,3}Z, `tools/call` to `gateway.pipeworx.io/pharma-intel/mcp`,
`pharma_resolve_drug`, `name:"lorundrostat"`.
