`edgar_company_concept({cik:"1133869", concept:"ShortTermInvestments"})` returns
`concept: "CashCashEquivalentsAndShortTermInvestments"`, `concept_substituted: true`,
`label: "Cash, Cash Equivalents, and Short-term Investments"`, and
`latest: {fiscal_year:2025, fiscal_period:"Q3", period_end:"2025-09-30", value:98600000,
form:"10-Q", filed:"2025-11-10"}`.

Two compounding traps: (1) the substituted tag is **broader** than what was asked (it bundles
cash and cash equivalents into the "short-term investments" figure, inflating it relative to a
pure securities balance); (2) Capricor's most recent 10-Q (period_end 2026-06-30, filed
2026-08-14 — the same filing used in the `MarketableSecurities`/`Cash` findings) apparently does
not report this specific tag at all, so `latest` falls back to a data point **13 months old**
relative to today (2026-10-12) with no staleness flag in the response beyond the dated
`period_end` itself.
