A FAERS query scoped to a fully-closed past year gives a stable, reproducible count — but `drug/event`'s own 74-day-stale `meta.last_updated` means that stability is only within-session, not across data loads

## What was checked
The guide's Wanted list asks for a FAERS query that gives stable counts. Query
stability within `drug/event` depends on whether the date range you ask about is
still being backfilled. A fully closed historical year should be safe; a range
touching the present almost certainly reflects whatever openFDA's last quarterly
load happened to contain.
## Exact query (repeatable, copy-pasteable)
```
GET https://api.fda.gov/drug/event.json
?search=patient.drug.openfda.generic_name:"IBUPROFEN" AND receivedate:[20200101 TO 20201231]
&limit=1
```
## Observed output (2026-10-12T20:40:18Z and 20:40:19Z, same query, 1s apart)
Both calls: `meta.results.total: 19672`. Identical.
A second, intentionally less-safe query over the current year behaved the same way
in this one session —
```
GET .../drug/event.json?search=patient.drug.openfda.generic_name:"IBUPROFEN" AND receivedate:[20260101 TO 20261012]&limit=1
```
— returned `7283` both times (2026-10-12T20:40:31Z and 20:40:38Z). That apparent
stability is explained, not contradicted, by S7 in this lane: `drug/event.json`'s
own `meta.last_updated` was `2026-07-30` at the same session — the whole FAERS
dataset behind this endpoint had not moved since July, so *of course* two calls a
few seconds apart agree; they would disagree across openFDA's next quarterly
refresh. The closed-2020-year query is the one actually safe to treat as durable;
the current-year query's matching count today is an artifact of a stale load, not
evidence of real-time accuracy.

Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
